Section 2: Events & Characters

Events are the main, current storylines or situations that are unfolding throughout China. The events board is found here and is a place where both members and staff alike can create a thread requesting a plotline to unfold. It is down to you to think of interesting ideas, get in touch with people you think may be best involved from the beginning, pm them and start the process of brainstorming ideas - prior to making an event thread. Staff can be pmed to give a potential insight into troop numbers, political situations and other variables you may not be too familiar with. There is no scale too big, nor too small (within reason) that you cannot post in the board, providing you are confident you have the starting blocks to get it moving smoothly. Confused on how it works? Feel more than free to pm a member of staff, who will point you in the right direction.

Canon Character: Any character from history or the novel. Main Asset: Any character listed in the main asset list in the character centre. Original Character: Any character you have made that is unique to you. Limits: Your total limit is 2 canons and any number of original characters, however you cannot choose a second canon until you have reached 20 posts with your first character. Main Asset Rules: Main assets are expected to engage actively with the site as they have backgrounds and a history unrivaled on the site from the start. As a main asset you should look to keep in touch with your fellow kingdom members and co-ordinate threads, plots and events whenever and wherever possible. You are expected to show activity often, so please pm a staff member in the cases of a vacation etc. Inactive main assets will be put back as available after a non-defined period of time. Other rules: All characters are expected to be as active as possible, but are given more leway compared with main assets. Please only weaponry, armour and backgrounds relating to, or very close to the time period. I do not expect to see accurate ancient chinese armour in descriptions, but katanas, guns, ninja stars etc were not around, likewise the chance of a Roman around would be very rare and only a merchant he/she would be, so not legionaries.
