THE PERSONALITY
A calm, collected individual on the outside, fighting against the premature presumptions people make about him, when they realise he is the son of Lu Bu. During everyday life he is quiet, enjoying his own company and unlikely his father, would much rather relax besides a stream and ponder, than rush head first into battle.
He has the potential to be like his father; such as when he is rattled, he can become aggressive, forceful and unpredictable, yet in recent times he has tried to stop his self from acting as such. He is known as stern, loyal and fearless when on duty or when pressed in difficult circumstances, giving hints to his bloodline, but also a stark contrast in other regards.
Not religious in the slightest, he gives it his all in battle, he does his duty to his fullest potential and rarely puts a foot wrong. He seeks someone who can look past his father’s downfalls and choose him on his unique worth alone, and with that in mind he feels the need to give himself an alias, or fake name in order to continue his quest.
With events turning sour under his father, there is no telling how Lu Xiu may react to one another if they were to meet again.
THE APPEARANCE
Like his father, Lu Xiu isn’t drop dead handsome, nor does he pander to the term ‘ugly’, instead he fits into the column you may title average, or slightly above. He has medium length black hair, brown eyes and no major features which might drop his appearance further than normal. Being of the age he is, he does not allow facial hair to show, instead opting to shave if and when needed.
He has a slimmer physique compared with Lu Bu, he has used it to his advantage numerous times, competing in duelling contests and winning a large majority of them, with his slimmer, quicker frame. His muscles are well toned and he has only thin hairs on his chest, barely visible and a more visible ‘snail trail’ below his belly button.
Xiu dresses in ordinary clothes or armour and has yet to be seen in a courtly garment. His armour consists of mostly leather, with small plates or scales of metal placed strategically where he feels most vulnerable in a fight. His upper arms are largely unprotected, yet vembraces guard his lower.
THE HISTORY
Little is known of the son of Lu Bu, but has been there, or there about with Lu Bu for most his young life. He was trained in martial arts from a young age, trained almost exclusively with a sword or ji until Diao Chan convinced his father to also allow for scholarship. He mastered swordsmanship easily, did well with a ji or spear, but did not enjoy martial arts. His scholarship went well, better than many thought would, and whilst he is no Zhuge Liang, there seems hope for him yet. [/blockquote]
He found minor success within Cao Cao's army, minor only due to the limited capacity he would find himself entitled to. Several battles ensured that he was given correct veterancy to begin to lead a line and that happened at Xiaoyao ford, where upon his officer's death, he took charge. He managed to fend off the Wu assault and earned Zhang Liao an important moment of breathing space, but his time within that battle, came to just that moment.
By 215 he had been of age to fight for some few years, but it was in the North West when he and his father collided. During a raid on a village he witnessed the famed ruthlessness of his father in full view. The renowned warrior pillaged, and killed all who got in his way in the Shu guarded settlement. In one particular house, things turned ugly…
But some things are better left for another day.
