ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Name: Zhong Feng "The Crimson Demon" Age: 31 Gender: Male Style: Original Residence: Born in Ling Ling, resides in Jiang Xia
THE PERSONALITY
From the notes on Zhong Feng from Pang Tong:
"Who is Zhong Feng? That is an interesting question. At first he seems like any other warrior, eager to battle, first one out, and likes bloodshed. But it goes far beyond. While spending a decent amount of time with him, I've come to realize that it's more than normal eagerness for battle. He in fact doesn't care for battles, but for the blood itself. He seems to have an odd fascination with the liquid that flows from our bodies. While imprisoned alone, he cut himself just to watch it flow from his body.
One thing is for sure, when there isn't any blood, Zhong Feng is anxious. Fidgety. He seems nervous and unsure if he should be there, sort of like a child. But the moment he "smells" blood or sees sight of it, a change falls over him. His whole demeanor changes from nervous and anxious to calm and assured. His eyes narrow and a smile crosses his face with delight.
Only one other thing seems to get to him, and that is sexual activity. When I asked him, which do you like better, the answer surprised me. He told me he didn't like neither, but it was something he was drawn to do. Despite this, he has a slight softer side. He seems to like listening to music and painting. Despite this, I suggest that we keep him locked up. If away from the sight of blood too long, he is willing to hurt himself and any of those around him at anytime just to see it.
I would also like to point out his physical fitness regime. Everyday he wakes up before dawn to start doing calisthenics and martial arts. For three hours straight. His skills with his weapons, this including his body, is top notch. And when he gets the chance, he practices with sticks to simulate spears and swords. I admire his work ethic, but I'm wholly afraid of this man. He's too mentally unstable to be effectively used for Shu. We should keep him locked up or banish him."
THE APPEARANCE
Zhong Feng stands at about an even six feet (1.8 meters), which is much larger than most Chinese men. He has strength, but he is not straight muscles. He was toned, lean, and had a sort of broad upper chest. His skin is slightly red due to the fact of him never washing the blood off his body. His eyes have two different "modes". The first one is anxious. They are wide and looking too and fro constantly, like a small child. The second one is calm and collected, dangerous, like a monster. His eyes narrow and seem to get darker. However, due to a burn when he was a child, very little of his hair remains, and almost an entire half of his head is scarred tissue making him a not-so-attractive man.
When there is no chance for a fight, he is usually seen in a black tunic and brown pants, usually walking barefoot, with his axe at his side. His hair, what's left of it, is usually tied back. At these times, he almost looks presentable to society. However, he is in his battle attire nine times out of ten. This consists of armor, which is a dark red. I believe this to be because of the blood that has stained his once stone colored armor. He has his axe at his side and his spear upon his back.
THE HISTORY
Not much is known about Zhong Feng before he became one of the most notorious serial killers in recent times. As soon as the war between the three broke out, he traveled all along the northern regions of Shu. There he began what I call the Reign of Blood. I believe that he was originally hired by Wei to be a mercenary. He and a group of bandits raided Shu supply trains and small villages. However, unlike most bandits, he dismembered and completely annihilated all of those he could find. Eventually it's believed his bandit group either deserted him, or he killed them.
After that, he went on a killing spree, rolling into towns and killing people in broad daylight in the streets. Guards were cut down and ripped apart when they tried to stop him. Eventually, all along the northern boarder, people stayed inside their homes. This of course got my attention. I sent an expedition of twenty five elite troops to capture, not kill this man. They eventually succeeded after he evaded capture for three years. When it was said and done, only six of my twenty five remained.
He should remain detained until further notice. [end of Pang Tong's notes]
[common knowledge] Zhong Feng escaped prison due to a prison riot. From then on he stole back his armor and weapons from the barracks and escaped to Jiang Xia. There he lays low and works as a mercenary for odd people.
[uncommon knowledge] He secretly kills a man on every mercenary mission he goes too. He also bathes in the bloods of his victims. He's known to carry around a vial full of blood. What he does with this unknown.
