The little debacle during dinner a few days ago stilled lingered in the minds of Ma Teng, Pang De & Ma Xiu. During the travels. The discussion between the entire Guanxi Coalition where very informative and hopefully heading to Tian Shui to lend a helping hand & fortifying their position will quite the complaints of some of the generals mouth's. The talk was more about an agreement was made among them that it was best to strengthen their current position then go ahead and attack rather then the other way around, whick was probably the smartest way to do things
Three Men where ahead of an army, slowly trotting ahead with their horses, the horse to the left was brown, the one in the middle was black & the one to the right was pure white Ma Teng, Pang De & Ma Xiu; steadily traveling to the Outskirts of Tian Shui with a small army. The main objective is to further strengthen the Defense of Tian Shui & help set up trade routes all throughout the west, to further assist the Guanxi Coalition's army.
Similar to Wu Wei, Tian Shui is somewhat like a wasteland that is high in the mountains, with little land to farm, but the citizens do the best they can with what they have, but giving that Wu Wei can only cross through Tian Shui if they want to advance to anymore cites, which make Tian Shui a very valuable city. It also leads to An Ding in which the forces of Wei could come and attack as well which proves even more valuable to the Guanxi Coalition & Wei. This city may hold and epic battle one day and it would be wise to prepare for such times. As the army got closer, the guards open the back gate to the fortress, an allowed Ma Teng and his army to enter the city. Teng had the entire army inside the army before making his move, he quickly sent a few scouts to go around the city so what needs to be done first
There where minor spots in the castle walls in where the stones where weak, and some of the towers. Other then that nothing really bad worth mentioning. a little after the scouts rode through the city, Teng then began making his plans to fortify the city
"De, I want you and take a third of the army and secure our defensive positions near the bridge that connects to An Ding & also the bridge to connects to Wu Wei. make sure their aren't any rebels of bandits around that could stall us on our mission...........*Teng then walks a bit closer to De whispers something in his ear to further explain his plans near the bridges and outside of the castle walls*....................Make sure we know this entire city inside and out
Pang De nodded to Teng and took the men outside of the castle walls to complete his mission given by Teng. De was one of Teng's most trusted generals and know's a person like him is going to do the best job. He then turn to his son Ma Xiu
"Xiu I want you to make sure all trade routes are secure and take another thrid of our men to scout out An Ding as well, that city is as much as important to us as Wu Wei is that city needs to be ours in order for us to make our next move.......make sure we have no sign Of Wei lingering there.....You hear me"
Ma Xiu: "Yes father you can count on me"
Xiu quickly atop his white steed and took his men and rode towards the east. Heading to the bridge to leads to An Ding
Ma Teng took a big *sigh* before ordering his men what to do inside the city walls. He rode around with his brown steed to the citizens around the land to lend a helping hand to strengthen Tian Shui they could use all the help they can in such a short time
