I'm juggling quite a few characters on this site, and having all those profiles means I won't open them unless it's to paste a post from Microsoft Word over to the site. Brief, five minutes or so.
To solve the issue of somebody PM'ing my Cao Cao account then not getting an answer because I don't have any posts to make with him or something, let's all agree to PM people to their MAIN OOC accounts, yes?

I don't really know which way to go on this one.. Sure it would be good for everybody to know to check one account, but the problem is I, for one, will probably only rarely even log in to my OOC account..
I guess it would be better if we were to agree to only PM staff to their OOC account, or to PM their character AND the OOC account. It just seems that those of us who stick away from the OOC board in the first place aren't going to bother logging in to any account other than our characters.
To summarize? I have no vote, I just don't know.

I agree with Dave here, as staff, we'll be logging into our OOC accounts far more often than anyone else. I'd say that it'd make sense to PM us on our staff accounts because we'll definitely be checking them. Otherwise I would say that it'd be prudent to simply send any necessary PMs to other players to their OOC account and also their character account.
Edit: Also, I just picked that option because its phrasing pleases me.

Its not really that big deal, PM to whichever account and then if you dont get a reply PM to another account.
Its not hard to look at the 'members in the last 24 hours' and see which account that person uses more frequently.

I'd suggest sending pms to Gan Ning, not this profile. As I am normally logged into Ning's. *shrug*

It might well save confusion to do it that way. If you only have one characters not much of an issue but when you get into 2/3 we may well miss messages. An sorry Brian but how could i refuse the phrasing on the third option

U could make a timetable to see which staff are online at which time, so u can send a PM to the guy who is assigned to that day or something?

Nice idea but it would never work. Nobody is going to keep to a timetable

Yes they should! Discipline and devotion are important! This site and its timetable is more important then real life can ever be!!!
