THE PERSONALITY
You will not find another devoted to serve like this man. His very essence derives from strength confined in those important to him, respectively the God of War. Guan Ping has marinated under his father's leadership throughout his career and has witness achievements. With symbolic accomplishments acquired by his father, Guan Ping burdens a mentality for producing positive results, any failure will not only disgrace his army colors, but his prideful name. It explains the harsh judgment and repetitive critiquing on work ethics, exposing a pessimist side to him. Yet this does not cause mental distress, it only indulges his unsatisfying craving for pride and glory. He is both his own worse critic and motivator with unshakable integrity.
An intimidating fellow when missions are concerned, but when arms are at rest and winds grow quiet, Guan Ping is a humble individual. His farmer roots still trails him, there's never a time when he's found relaxing. From training to tending the fields to the kitchen, Guan Ping is constantly occupied. His eagerness to assists locals has gained him a reputation among those he's sworn to protect. Unfortunately, all these deeds are done to repel his dark secret. Each blink relives a horrific event that he feels he'll never find redemption for. It’s the reason why he's taken up alcohol with, mostly drinking his uncle Zhang Fei...hoping that'll numb the pain, even for a moment.

BEAKONING DRAGON
Guan Ping was the son of Guan Ding, a farmer who lived north of the Yellow River. He was the younger of two brothers, yet was not content with living as a farmer. Instead, he took a liking for martial arts and strategic warfare. It was the day he fended off two punks bullying a girl would birth the fighting spirit sleeping in the boy. Guan Ding stood aware, as even his brother Guan Ning took interests and sparred with Ping. Within a month the two were undergoing studies of martial arts as well warfare of a wise man who suffered visual impairment. Their routines differed from each lesson, stressing all senses of the boys to their limits. Some sessions were immense enough to leave their bodies trembling, yet they stood determine to absorb all the wise man had to offer.
198 AD, north of the Yellow River
Guan Ping's lesson would be tested by a 8 cell bandit squad that had constantly raided the village for supplies. Alongside his brother Guan Ning, they both led two nights of assassinations, eliminating two a night. Each victim suffered atrocious wounds by the brothers. Unfortunately the remaining four interrogated local farmers for the ones responsible. One man dropped the whereabouts of a wise men and accused him of the killings, resorting the four at the wise men steps at the same time the brothers were out on choirs. They would return to find their master purged in his own blood, gushing down the wooden floors. revenged flickered held their hearts captive from the lost of the master, only the bandit's corpse laying before them could free the raging emotion. The turmoil between the brothers and bandits two months, but resulted in a bloody massacre in a woods where the bandits were lured to barricade trap set by the brothers for a gruesome torture. The conflicted bruised them physically and mentally, but their hard efforts would grant their village peace once more
SON OF THE WAR GOD
200 AD
Now age 17, Guan Ping would be interrupted by his father while tending to the fields. His eyes fasten upon a tall majestic man. "Guan Ping, This is general Guan Yu. He will stay with us for the night" The man's phoenix eyes intimidated him, his very presence thicken the air around them. Guan Ping would describe him as "A Emerald Dragon taking form". That same night, Guan Ping ventured to his late master's grave to pay respects. During his visit, a decorated case engraved with Ping's name drew his attention. It contained a ceremonial glove baring a silver dragon amulet over it, trailing with a dark green ribbon. A letter in the box read,

You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself. The Journey that is set will challenge you to depths unimaginable. with that said, you must die and be reborn. This item shall symbolize your resolve, any who impose on it shall fall. After reading this, your journey will begin. Your eyes will bare fierceness as a phoenix in battle, the stars has shown me you will die tonight to be birth the Son of a War God. But I warn you, heed my words. stand fast with green dragon....Oh, and tell Guan Ning I will proceed to kick his ass each meal for stealing my pounds of rice...jackass

It startled Guan Ping as he retrieve the glove and vow to overcome any obstacle, as well warn Guan Ning of the ass kicking. It made him ponder if the wise man knew of this majestic man’s arrival. The following day, Liu Bei soon arrived to reunite with his sworn brother. Guan Yu mentioned Guan Ding having the same surname as him, in response, Guan Ding asked if Guan Ping could enter the service of Guan Yu. The moment of suspense tighten the young boy’s heart, but Guan Yu accepted the offer by words that would shock him "I will gladly accept my son Guan Ping". Instantly he fell to his knees to honor his new father and uncle Xuande.
201 AD, Runan
Liu Bei gathered a force of several thousands, and, at Runan, planned to attack Cao Cao's forces at Xuchang, as a surprise attack. As cunning as it was, the Hero of Chaos heard news and quickly intercepted with an army personally. Liu Bei's assault made progress in defeating fatigued troops of Cao Cao, but he would hear word of fame General Xiahou Dun's ambush at Runan. The organized forces became in disarrayed, as Liu Bei was force to break camp and flee. Guan Ping, who had joined the expedition under his father, was caught in a slaughter fest to against Xiahou Dun's forces as Liu Pi retreated towards Liu Bei. The Young warrior fought with valor alongside Zhou Cang and the God of War. He would gain his father's respect as he fatally struck a horsemen darting towards Yuncheng's rear.
The tides of the battle would become more threatening when Guan Yu hears of Liu Bei's Peril and the death of Liu Pi. Guan Yu made quick haste with three hundred men to his brother aid against General Zhang He who blocked the retreat route. The forces led by Guan Yu made a violent impact on the general, causing He to retreat. Guan Ping was considered a hostile beast to any that even got in near Guan Yu. Zhou Cang stated “any who sought Master Yu’s head, fell to his blade”. Although heartbroken from extreme loses, Liu Bei managed to flee to Liu Biao with combining efforts from his loyal officers.
207 AD, Bowanpo
While staying under Liu Biao, Liu Bei acquired the services of Zhuge Liang. The strategist demonstrated his expertise against those who doubted, against Cao Cao who led an army to claim Xinye, the city in which Liu Bei was occupying. Zhuge Liang conjured a plan that would embarrass the enemy. He appointed Guan Ping and Liu Feng to take five hundred men with flammable materials, and wait in an area beside the Bowang Slope and wait Vanguard, Zhao Yun to lure Xiahou Dun into their fire attack. The ploy proved successful, ensnaring Xiahou Dun's troops ablaze. The one-eyed warrior would flee in shame with Guan Ping to reunite with Liu Bei’s forces, receiving praise from fellow officers.
208 AD, Chang Ban
An unsatisfying Cao Cao could not rest with Liu Bei, the pestering fly halting his ambition for power. This possessed Cao Cao to journey south, displaying dominance with an iron fist. News of Liu Cong cowardly surrender resulted in Liu Bei evacuation with the population of Xinye, seeking to find refuge in Xiakou. Guan Ping was designated under his father to meet Liu Qi to assist the fleeing force. Although reluctant to leave his colleagues, Guan Ping would gain a chance to return back with reinforcement under his father to repel opposing armies, leading a crushing blow. This aftermath instilled a new priority in Guan Ping to protect those unable to defend themselves.
BEARER OF THE AMULET GLOVE
In the coming years, Guan Ping was actively chosen to accompany Liu Bei in numerous expeditions on the campaign for Yizhou. Guan Ping began to Guan Ping inspected two surrendering Riverland generals, Gao Pei and Yang Huai, and found two concealed knives on their persons. Liu Bei had them executed. Zhang Ren, after killing Pang Tong, was in close pursuit of a fleeing Liu Bei until Guan Ping and Liu Feng repelled him. Guan Ping, He also delivered Liu Bei's letter of Pang Tong's death to Zhuge Liang.
208 AD, Huarong
Cao Cao's faced a crumbling defeat at Chi Bi, desperate to withdraw. If it were any other officer, Cao Cao would have faced his death. The heavens clearly stood in his favor as he encountered the God of War blocking his path. Guan Ping within his father's lines witness the man responsible for merciless deaths being given passage, all in the name of honor. This cost disturbance within the ranks as Guan Ping roared in rage, hurling his spear at the fleeing tyrant. The aim was precise, but redirected from its target by Green Dragon. This ignited a crossing of blades between father and son, too prevent the gloved warriors pursuit. The devastating duel ended in Guan Ping's submission, allowing the quarrel to die down. It grieved him to allow a wicked man to leave alive, but he would respect his father’s decision and pray for another opportunity.
213 AD, Juzhao Village
Guan Ping had solidified his self among the famed warriors of shu. His career was flourishing extravagantly as he took on all responsibilities given by his superiors. But a dark poison would sever his heart in turning point receiving a letter from his brother Guan Ning. The urgent message requested his assistance and on whim he made his departure, without notice to his superiors. Meeting Ning in abandon shrine, they discussed the adversity that stressed his brother. ”Ning! We will not falter. Don’t worry brother, we will get her back” the two devised a plot to end a syndicate residing in Juzhao Village. Their joints efforts took four weeks to accomplish, but it would leave the warrior mentally scared. Returning back to his father’s side after the mission, he would deceive Guan Yu from the truth and seal his dark secret in his heart. (i’d go into details with this, but i’d rather rp it instead )
214 AD, Jing
Currently Guan Ping is working under his father to repel that of Wei and Wu, although he struggles with mental torment it does not hinders his efforts to quell those who oppose his father. With how long he’s tried to uphold the family name...he can’t afford to tarnish it now
