This has had me puzzled for a moment. In every Roleplay I have played, and created or assisted in creating, has had troops to be purchased and troops used more-so in battle. No TROOPS! Why is this so?
I understand that this site is more orientated towards the story but the troops are the most important part to this game, besides the generals and lords of course.

Actually, you are mistaken; the troops aren't the most important part of this "game" because battles aren't important to this "game". This is much more a site for interacting and writing with one another and not at all a game in which someone wins. In any case, if a battle does come up troops will be doled out accordingly

I do personally think that everybody should have a rough idea of how many troops they command though, it would help in certain situations to know how many men you have.
I was thinking that in my thread in Tian Shui, I have stated that I am outnumbered 3 to 1 but I have no idea if this actually the case or if Ma Chao/Liu Bei/Mat Teng are saying something different to me.
You see my point?

That's why you communicate with the other people in the thread. Communication is when you open up a dialog with another person for the purpose of attaining information. A dialog is a conversation between two people.
I don't understand why everyone is so opposed to speaking to people who are in their threads about where they are going. Hammer out some deet's before you start a thread, it'll make both the thread and the experience so much better.

You guys think that badass shit with me and Brian that happened on New Era was done without us talking about it extensively for like a month? No. You kids and your bravado. Thanks Kyle

No problem, sir. The best threads that I have encountered have all had planning involved. This shit doesn't just happen randomly. Threads with defined endings or at least a developed course set up by the players involved are both easier to maintain and also a lot more of fun to work with. A bunch of random reactions between two or more people will never be able to compare.

You miss the point
Say for example Ma Teng said in a thread I have 10,000 troops, well I may not have read that and I may say he has 30,000 troops.
Do you not see where I'm going with this?
The continuity will be screwed.
I honestly don't see why you are so anti that, its just an extra bit on information to help people in their posts.
