"Half-rusted, broken in the sand, this halberd, Scraped and cleaned, calls up an era past. Had that east wind not done Zhou Yu a turn. Two Qiaos in spring would have gone to the tower."

ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Name: Da Qiao Age: 31 Gender: Female Style: Canon Residence: Jian Ye
THE PERSONALITY
Da Qiao is a soft spoken and gentle soul which makes her seem overly shy and timid; almost passive which isn’t necessarily always the case. She is the type of person who would never utter a single word to harm another’s feelings. Da Qiao is a firm believer in mercy and pacifism, but she understands that war is inevitable and will lend a hand to help whenever she can for the sake of her people and her family. Da Qiao would much rather use her intellect to influence a battle; her intelligence better suited as a tactician than out on the battlefield, but when it is necessary she would no hesitate to bear arms, especially in the defence of her loved ones.
Da Qiao is nothing short of an optimist, looking up rather than down and taking every negative opportunity as a learning experience. She values those who prioritize honesty, kindness and mercy over those who value soldiers only based on strength. She believes that all, even the cruelest have some redeeming quality and would much rather prod and find the good in a person than have them punished through means such a death.
Unlike her younger sister, Da Qiao is calmer and is clearly the more mature and wise of the two sisters. Da Qiao is the voice of reason when her sister gets out of hand and is the only one (other than her sisters own husband) who can talk sense into Xiao. While reserved, some believe Da Qiao to be completely submissive, but when her family, friends and belief is attacked she would not hesitate to defend them. In fact, Da Qiao isn’t recessive at all, but the dominant sister. As the oldest she would not hesitate to scold her own sister if she steps out of line; sometimes Da Qiao scolds her own husband for his occasional playful manner, but unless the situation is dire, her scolding’s are almost always just her own maternal and protective instincs.
THE APPEARANCE
Da Qiao along with her sister is known for her great beauty. She stands at 5’3” with a petite build. She has silky raven hair which reaches just past her shoulders; usually her hair would be pinned up by beautiful ornaments and hairpins, but she prefers the simplicity of leaving it out. Her skin is smooth and pallid like porcelain unmarred by a single scar.
Like everything about her, Da Qiao has petite features. Her almond shaped eyes are a rich hazel-grey color, complimenting her rosy cheek and the feathery red shade of her lips like that of painted on rouge. Her nose is well structured the bridge well defined and a tiny button finish.
Da Qiao dresses in fine elegant robes in her day to day life; preferring royal colors such as red, blue and gold. Da Qiao prefers to dress modestly, opting for longer sleeves and floor length dresses, on occasion will she allow for shorter sleeves, but usually this is when she is alone or with her hand maidens. When in battle her robes switch the hem of her dress shortening from the bottom and the wrists of her shirt to be much tighter for less restricted movement. Under her clothes she opts for leather armor restricting it to only a breastplate and arm guards as her weapon can be seen more defensive than offensive as Da Qiao is more passive than aggressive in battle.
THE HISTORY
(Although there are many inconsistencies in history that disproves the theory of being Qiao Xuans daughter, I’m going to, for the sake of simplicity, keep it this way. Unless of course you wish for me to change it.)
The two Qiao sisters are said to be from Wan County, Lujiang; the daughters of the duke Qiao Xuan. The two were the beauties of south of the Yangtze River and it has been said that the battle of Red Cliffs was in fact stemmed from Cao Cao trying to get the beauties to himself. Da and Xiao Qiao were raised under careful supervision, there father an overprotective man and while Da Qiao was every obedient and never stepped a toe out of line it was her younger sister who proved to be the rebellious of the two. While there father was gone Da Qiao took it upon herself to be the voice of reason for her sister and was even the maternal figure for her younger sister. While Xiao would run off on a new adventure, Da Qiao was very wise and was always able to convince her sister to abandon reckless ideas.
When the girls had reached the right age Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao were married to Sun Ce and Zhou Yu respectively devoting their lives to the two men and in essence what is famously known as Wu. It is said that the final words spoken by Sun Ce were those to his wife wanting her to leave her/ relay a message to her sister which would be passed on to Zhou Yun; to continue supporting his brother Sun Quan. (Although in this site we are all very aware that Ce is alive and this is just to show how supportive of Wu Da Qiao really is)
During her life with her husband, Da Qiao was well respected by many not just for her beauty, but also for her intellect, while not on the caliber of tacticians such as Zhou Yu and Zhuge Liang, she has proven capable with her own militia and has even provided ideas on the battlefield which have proven quite effective. Slowly she not only proved to be a capable tactician, but also a just and fair leader. When left home because of the danger of a battle Da Qiao was the type to engage with the civilians, helping with overseeing the building of homes and marketplaces for the civilians and has even helped her sister and sister-in-law with eradicating bandits inhabiting the outskirts of their home.
When meeting with Zhuge Liang and Lu Su on the affairs of Cao Cao’s threat, it is revealed to Zhou Yu that Cao Cao intended to take the two Qiao’s for himself enraging Zhou Yu as one was his best friends and lord wife while the other his own. While it is clear that Zhuge Liangs intention was to anger Zhou Yu and have him switch his mind from surrendering to battling for the strategists own lord was not in favorable conditions. Because of the alliances formed against Cao Cao (Liu Bei, Zhou Yu along with others) it led to Cao Cao’s defeat at Chibi.
After the battle the sisters are never mentioned, but one can assume that they stayed in the lands of Wu Da Qiao continuing to raise her daughter and overseeing the growth of Sun Shao her deceased husband’s unofficially adopted son.

Seems like a good profile, other than this part: "When meeting with Zhuge Liang and Lu Su on the affairs of Cao Cao’s threat, it is revealed to Zhou Yu that Cao Cao intended to take the two Qiao’s for himself enraging Zhou Yu as one was his best friends widow while the other his own wife" as I assume the 'friends widow' part meant Sun Ce, who remains alive APPROVED pending the edit

Oh, my bad. I just thought the history had to be the actual history as to show knowledge of the character despite the obvious contradiction on the site; changed to your preference :3
